Not only are those who made this film wonderful. The film itself is wonderful by exploring queer identities and their interactions with gaming. It does bring up some insight into improvements that can be made in games, but by no means does it try to to overwhelm the viewer with opinions. It's more of a high light of the wonderful nature, when done right of the game industry.This Documentary has been out on other platforms. Thats how I've seen it, it's called Amazon.. As a Gaymer myself, this documentary (if you wnat to call it that) was literally 98% \u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665ing. At 38 minutes into it I almost shut it off because it was a broken record of complaining that was starting to hurt my ears, whine whine whine. So many of the interviewees really seem angry, mad and just bitter. GTA5 didnt have gay characters or a female protagonist (10 minutes of complaining about that). They use quotes from YouTube commenters for some of the gay game clips shown -- and you have to stop for a minute and think about it. Everyone in the comments sections of 99% of any games are flaming each other for everything, its a bunch of 13 y.o.'s I laugh at most of it because their all stupid, but this documentary takes YouTube comments like it's literal hate eg. sex scene in Mass Effect 3 was used, hate comment used showed 'futurestic buttsex'. omg how halarious I think, no according to these guys its more hate. Comon... The intent is good, but I found myself rolling my eyes more often than not. The final 11 minutes were some of the better part of the show. I almost wish it was put at the beginning. Overall... Meh.... Fantasic !!! We NEED more LGBTQA+ characters. We need MORE LGBTQA+representation, because it's not just straight people who play games. The LGBTQA+plays, therefore should feel like they can play without being pushed asside.Feel they too are accepted.Aim to help LGBT+ people find their place in the world so that they can feel part of a community of like-minded people, and understand that they\u2019re a valued, beautiful and incredibly important.It's important. It's so important.It's imporant that a kid can play and not feel pressured to pick a character that doesn't associate with their sexuality and gender. You want to play somebody who reflects who you are, if you understand where i'm getting at ? Making it relevant to individuals and communities of diversity in sexuality and gender identity based cultures.We want girls kissing girls, we want boys kissing boys, we want bisexuality in boys and girls, we want transgender FTM\/MTF, we want non binary folks, and ect+ Although video games are incredibly forward, at times they can be very backwards in terms of being LGBT+ friendly.MORE LGBTQA+ REPRESENTATION !!!!MORE PEOPLE OF COLOR AND RACE !!!!ERASE HETROSEXUALITY AS NORMAL.EARASE BEING CIS AS NORMAL.PREACH THIS !!!!EQUALITY FOR ALL. I LOVED THIS !!!. This is a great documentary! I hope that I am able to attend GaymerX one day! I have definitely felt out of place at gaming conventions I've been to in the past.. It's funny how people say they are complaining, when in reality they just want to be represented in a game. They make great points in how if they had a gay video game character to look up to it would help them alot in coming out. Honestly people just don't really get the whole film and don't try to understand it. Just \u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665 what they say and get it.
